Our Story

At Athalie Range Park in Liberty City, Charles found his calling while coaching football. During the intense season - filled with four practice sessions a week and nail-biting Saturday games - he noticed a transformation.

These young athletes weren't just mastering their sport; they were also excelling in school and making positive choices in life. But the football season's brevity, from August to December, left a void. Charles dreamt of making a year-round impact.

Enter lacrosse.

Charles was introduced to lacrosse by a friend from Coral Gables, where the city's only organized lacrosse team resided, Charles was inspired. Rather than shuttling his kids to Pinecrest, he brought lacrosse home. In 2022, Range Park became the birthplace of a new sporting journey, right where the football magic happened.

Our debut in 2022 saw 35 enthusiastic kids between 8U and 10U teams giving their all on the field. The 8U team, while initially finding their footing, ended with a thrilling above .500 record. Their crowning glory? Triumphing over two of Boca Raton's top private travel teams in a spectacular Orlando tournament. As for our 10U warriors, they tasted victory in every game, bar one, throughout the season, and dominated the Orlando end-of-season tournament.

Come 2023, our family grew with the addition of the 12U team. With over 65 young athletes in tow, our teams are carving a name among South Florida's elite. However, it's not just about the scoreboard. Our true victory? Crafting a nurturing family environment where every child thrives, both on and off the field. We're setting our sights on leveraging lacrosse as a passport to private school scholarships, broadening horizons for our young stars. Education, after all, remains at the heart of our mission. As we grow, this will be our beacon.

Oh, and did we mention? Our pioneering season, as well as our remarkable journey in 2023, caught the media's eye. Do watch the coverage videos to truly grasp the essence of what we're building here. The future is bright, and you're invited to be a part of it!

Our program is more than a team; it's a burgeoning family community.

Our Mission

Lacrosse has traditionally been a sport of more affluent communities. We proudly represent the first lacrosse initiative rooted in under-resourced neighborhoods of South Florida. Our mission is to introduce our youth to the world of lacrosse, expanding their horizons and building bridges of understanding between diverse communities. Beyond teaching the sport, we're invested in nurturing life skills, year-round engagement, and holistic personal growth. We're proud to witness our players connect with elite high school coaches, opening doors to institutions like St. Andrews in Boca Raton, St. Thomas Aquinas in Ft. Lauderdale, Gulliver in Miami, and Ransom Everglades in Miami. With the invaluable support from coaches at schools like Gulliver and Ransom Everglades, our vision is blossoming.

Our program is more than just a team; it's a burgeoning family community. From Brian Neff's unwavering support even when his son chose basketball to the heartwarming engagement of two team parents, our narrative is one of unity, growth, and potential.
